Humanity’s next great frontier connects three extraordinary areas of progress: antimatter power, the physics of spacetime and spacecraft capable of carrying civilization beyond Earth—from SpaceX’s Starship ambitions for the Moon and Mars toward an interstellar starship.

My research into recursively self-improving intelligence began in 1980. That vision has profound implications for this frontier: increasingly capable intelligence improving its own capabilities, accelerating scientific discovery and engineering, and expanding what humanity can achieve.

Zettascale AI ambitions, super-scaled cloud computing, quantum computing and automated laboratories could multiply that progress—exploring new physics, discovering materials, optimizing designs and testing ideas at unprecedented scale.

Building on CERN’s antimatter experiments and NASA propulsion studies: greater production, cooling, confinement, precisely regulated fuel delivery and energy recovery. The paper also explores hypothetical antihydrogen pellets and an optional antihelium jacket.

Investigating the work of Erik Lentz, Alexey Bobrick and Gianni Martire, Shaun Fell and Lavinia Heisenberg, and subsequent researchers—seeking the physical breakthroughs needed to turn mathematical warp geometries into controllable propulsion.

Advancing reusable spacecraft, orbital refueling, shipyards and deep-space habitats toward antimatter-powered explorers—and, ultimately, a possible warp-capable ship with an isolated crew habitat, engineering hull and field-generation systems.

I’ve developed a technical concept paper connecting these tracks into a guiding prototype architecture, with an optimistic 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝟱, 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟮𝟬+ 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 roadmap. It examines the components, engineering requirements and discoveries needed. Faster-than-light travel remains a breakthrough-dependent research goal; the roadmap sets out an ambitious path to investigate it.
